Text Messages for Team Updates!

Gigabark provides messaging for one of the largest basketball tournaments in the country over three days.

Through our TourneyText service, Gigabark recently provided messaging for the 2013 King James Shooting Stars Classic – one of the largest basketball tournaments in the country with close to 600 teams participating over three days.

Coaches and parents were able to keep up with their teams by texting in to receive schedule and score updates straight to their phone through text messages in real time – in total using over 12,500 text messages. Tournament officials managed most of the tournament from the mobile phones and drastically reduced the amount of time they spent behind a computer and with paper work. We love making our clients’ lives easier!
