Last week Insightpool (@insightpool) hosted the Social Engagement Summit (#TSES) at Atlanta Tech Village (@ATLTechvillage). Business professionals from all over Atlanta attended the inaugural one day conference to hear advice from social media engagement gurus.

Headliners included Chris Walters, Chief Operating Officer at The Weather Channel (@weatherchannel), Josh Martin, Director of Digital & Social Media at Arby’s (@Arbys), and Andrew Osterday, Global Digital Strategy & Content at Coca-Cola (@CocaCola).

These speakers were just as engaging in person as they are over social media. From Arby’s funny story about Pharell’s (@Pharell) Grammy (@TheGRAMMYS) hat, to Coke’s heartwarming film following the FIFA World Cup trophy to Brazil’s paralympic training facility, attendees left with an abundance of key insights and examples of best practices for engagement.

As an integrated services provider, Gigabark (@Gigabark) understands how social media and mobile messaging can intersect to create a more impactful engagement strategy. Speaking of impactful engagements, this is also why we participated in and supported the inaugural Social Engagement Summit. Our cocktail hour was packed with TSES attendees still buzzing with energy, inspiration and questions for speakers who were in attendance. We definitely ended the Summit with a bang.
